French at Castlemartin.

Post by johnyllew » Tue Jul 07, 2015 3:30 pm

Just heard a couple of French jets pulling up out of Castlemartin. Anyone know if they are the same as last year. Hopefully be back tomorrow.

Did you get the callsigns?
They stayed high, very hard to see in this sky today.

Couldn't quite make out the callsign. They were on 386.575 at Castlemartin then 280.350 on their way home. Might pop down there tomorrow to see if anything is about.

Very busy afternoon with various flights operating on the range.
Need to learn french to really understand what's going on.

If PP is to be believed - Typhoon ZK353 "XXX000001" is currently on the range.

I only have SBS - and the second one isn't in my data base, but is likely to be ZK308. I'd wait for visual confirmation from Yeovilton though if I were you.

12:50L [43C77C] Typhoon ZK353 "XXX00001" inbound from the north west.
12:53L [43C610] Typhoon "XXX00002" inbound from the north west.
