November 2022 POTM Competition
November 2022 POTM Competition
It's time for autumn light, night shoots and cold....
1. Only one entry per user, unless posting on behalf of another person who is unable to do so themselves (children for example). If this is the case, please state so on your entry.
2. The photograph must have been taken during the month and year in question - November 2022, the date the photo was taken MUST be included in the post.
3. The photo can be of any subject you like, as long as there is some military aviation connection.
4. The image can be photo-shopped to some extent, levels changes, cropping, sharpening etc. are all acceptable. The photograph must retain it’s initial subject though, don’t make it something it’s not (cutting and pasting the moon into the shot, for example). HDR images are not acceptable. If you are unsure, please PM a moderator.
5. The competition will remain open until 23.59 on the 6th December 2022 (UK time), to enable anyone with last minute entries some breathing space
6. The voting will be carried out by you, the members of FC, by a poll which will be created at the closing of the competition.
7. Moderators/Administrators will not be exempt from the competition, but cannot vote for their own entry.
8. The decision of the moderating team is final.
9. All images must be posted in line with the usual FC posting rules
10. The rules may be subject to change, and these will be posted on this thread.
11. Please do not comment on entries other than your own.
12. Prizes are available for UK entrants only
Good luck everyone!

Re: November 2022 POTM Competition
I'll start it off with this one taken at Lakenheath on 2nd November, F-15E 92-0364 in the spacial scheme. I could do with some of the heat to help with my bills! wonder if I can borrow one for a few minutes- that's all it would take to warm the house up

Re: November 2022 POTM Competition
At the beginning of November there was the large military exercise "Falcon Autumn" in the Netherlands. It is an exercise of the 11th Airmobile Brigade, which used a large number of helicopters, of which, in addition to the helicopters of its own air force, also those of the United States and Poland. The exercise consisted of various scenarios spread across the Netherlands. One of the scenarios was attacking the enemy holding the locks in the city of the Wolden.
The next day all troops had to be picked up again by the helicopters showing here some of the five US Army Chinooks ready for departure while the US Army Blackhawks allready departed from the field in the back.

(Currently in a Civilian guise, but a former RAF example, flying from a former RAF base, paying tribute to the fallen - so hopefully meets Rule 3 of the competition, "some military aviation connection".)
