I like this picture - mainly due to the efforts involved to obtain it!
This shot was a bit of a challenge - for the following reasons...
Technically I was not allowed to take the photograph due to it's location in the Gulf region - but fortunately (or stupidly) a sense of 'he who dares' ....prevailed.
It involved the use of a car (to hide my presence behind the glare of the headlights)
I had no tripod available - so I had to switch off an air-conditioning unit outside my tent and make use of that and a little packing of sand and stones beneath the camera to level things up.
Only took two shots - both guessed - the first with an 8 second exposure - which was way too over exposed
- and this on a 4 second exposure.Finally - Not much time to shoot due to frequent security patrols by the Feds!
