Photography Competition Rules - Please Read Very Carefully.

1. Only one entry per user, unless posting on behalf of another person who is unable to do so themselves (children for example). If this is the case, please state so on your entry.
2. The photograph can have been taken at any time.
3. The photo for this month only, must not have been taken with a DSLR, compacts and bridge cameras are fine..
4. The competition will remain open until 23.59 on the 1st July 2011.
5. The voting will be carried out by the FC staff.
6. The voting decision is final.
7. All images must be posted in line with the usual FC posting rules
8. Please do not comment on photos other than your own.
9. The rules may be subject to change, and these will be posted on this thread.

I'll have a go with this one, HS Andover E3 of 115 Sqn. Taken at Greenham Common, IAT 80, on a Mamiya DSX 1000 camera and scanned from a 35mm slide.

Here's one of my all-time favourites non-DSLR pictures I took.....
air-to-air refuelling with a NATO AWACS somewhere over Germany back in 2004 while flying on-board a Hawaii ANG KC-135R



taken with a Canon EOS 300 and EF-28-135mm next to the boom operator position... what a sight that was when the E-3A came out of the clouds approaching the contact position. Picture is scanned from print. Oh, the dark "line" cutting through the picture of the left side is actually the safety wire of the refuelling boom and the dark spots on the E-3A wings are the shadows of the KC-135 contrails.
