Sounds like a good plan - sadly I won't be on site on Thursday (I'm due in on Tuesday to host a school visit!)

Whilst on this thread - the Night Shoot has nearly sold out and the Car photography event is boking up fast - everyone seems to like the Viggen being outside!!

The Day/Night Photo Shoot on 5th October has now sold out and any participation requests will now be held on a reserve list.

Passes etc. will be sent out during the next week to ten days – thanks to everyone who has decided to participate.

Was down as planned first thing to get some photos before heading on to QBY. Arrived before 'official' opening but was allowed in to get a 'flyer'. Thanks to the delightful lady who was behind the counter this am.

I’ve been over at the museum today and the Viggen has been repositioned ready for the Car Photography event this Sunday and for the Night Photo Shoot on October 5th (sold out).

It will go back inside sometime after October 12th – precise date still to be confirmed due to a jury service commitment for one of the members of staff; but it will be safe and warm again before too long.

Don’t miss out on those current photo opportunities with the Viggen outside – why not pay a visit to the Aeroboot on the 12th? Two birds with one stone and all that!

I hear what you’re saying – but unless we have an early winter i.e. before the end of October I think it’s ‘an unlikely photo opportunity’.

We’ve already had some negative feedback about it ‘deteriorating’ whilst outside this summer.

I have to say that now it’s been moved away from the Meteor NF14 it looks even more impressive and ‘ripe’ for some classic sunset shots!!

Everyone is entitled to their views and broadly speaking they're probably correct - nevertheless it does look nice in the sunshine!! :)

Earlier today the Saab Viggen was moved from its recent display position into a news location in front of the eastern doors of Display Hangar 2.

This move has been completed to free up vehicle access to Hangar 2 for the Indoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble Sale on Saturday 12th October.

The Viggen is due to be towed back into Display Hangar 2 on Tuesday 15th October.

The move back into Display Hangar 2 was completed successfully this morning.

Thanks to everyone who came to see or attend events involving the Viggen being outside; your support is appreciated!
