TSR2 Anniversary Event

Details have just been uploaded to the NAM Website about proposals for a TSR2 Anniversary event at Newark Air Museum this September.

More details can be found in here – the museum is looking for people that might be interested in bringing along TSR2 related displays etc.

In view of the revised CAA forms that have required completion for all of our flypasts this year I guess that I’ll be the Airshow Director again and I’m not letting anyone know when the PDA will take place!!

We are now able to release details of the provisional list of TSR2 related display items that will be on display at the event next month more details in here!

Earlier today saw the Brooklands Museum’s TSR2 cockpit section delivered to the museum; details in here! A couple of photographs have also been added in here! The cockpit was spotted on the M1 by at least one editor of an aviation magazine, so that may explain what others may have seen.

The TSR2 cockpit is now inside Hangar 2 at the museum and the exhibition area for the event on 27th September is now being set-up. A couple of photos can be found in here!

A few minor changes for tomorrows event have been added in here!.

Plus we can advise that following an appropriate Risk Assessment there will be public viewing opportunities for the rear cockpit area of the TSR2 cockpit.

As a special note – no lecture tickets have been sold in advance; they will only be on sale on Saturday once people have been admitted to the museum.
