Hi Guys,

My name's Tony, been a reader/lurker for a few months now ever since I met two members at the Harrier Farewell at Dunsfold. I'm a professional photographer with an interest in aviation ever since I was a lad. Applied for the RAF scholarship years ago and was invited to Cramwell, but my eyes weren't up to it, so became a 'tog instead because that obviously has nothing to do with good vision.... ;)

Anyway, I'm here because I'm paying attention to the Libya situation. Thinking of heading to CBY in the morning if Typhoons are still on the ground but will wait and see.

Great forum btw, good to be here!

Tony

wonder how many new members are employed in the media?? Had a larger than usual number requesting to join milscanners including a couple with vague descriptions of why they wish to join...., all on hold for now anyhow

Lots I'd wager! Just to be clear, I'm not media. I am a wedding 'tog as my day job and shoot aviation for stock agencies from time to time. You can see some of my stuff on my website: http://www.tony-hart.com/othersubjects.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Evening all,

Im Rob from manchester and during the day i work with bomb detection dogs as a sampler at the airport cargo center, on my rare days off i attract bad weather at the loop but thats all changing as my last trip was in wonderfull weather. My daughter is a engineer on tiffies at Coningsby so I will be meeting some of you down their in the near future, been once for a base visit but they had all gone onto night flying 2 days before ( I suffer from bad luck, consistantly) so nothing was flying but on the plus side I did get up close and personal with one and came away mighty impressed. I use Nikon equipt and am saving up for a 300 f2.8 to go on my d300.

Rob
