Been wanting to try something like this for a while, and some boredom finally gave me a chance to. Spying on the spy plane.... :ninja:

Nice to see our RAF Valley scenery you like Wingman_90 ;) Here's a few pictures I got from testing flights with vRAF on VATsim, with the new JF Tornado GR1 :) Repaints are fantastic and are by Dale Ashcroft, can find his repaints on Flightsim freeware library! Lets just hope they do a GR4 or F3  !

Been on DCS a lot recently getting the hang of the Mi-8 add on, big step up in difficulty going from FSX Helicopters to DCS Helicopters!

Recently installed P3D V3 and decided to give the Lotus Simulations L-39 Albatros a run out over the Lakes; seen here in a fictional RAF scheme done by vistarepaints.com

Performance is improving ;-)

Took off from RAF Marham and headed out to the North Sea and routed up the east coast towards Teesside where I flew a formation missed approach, then onto fly past RAF Leeming before heading to Donna Nook range for some (simulated) Practice. Then it was RTB Marham. I';m really enjoying flying this aircraft now.

Hi, does anyone know if the RFA Mounts Bay was available for FSX? It's currently in the Virgin Islands, and I'd like to use it to fly helps off.

More DCS, passing the time as there's not a lot else Military Flying wise going on this time of year...

The SA342 Gazelle was brought out by Polychop Simulations and it is a full fidelity simulation of the real life SA342M/L Gazelle. Every switch works as it should in the real thing with all procedures that have to be carried out in the sim being identical to those used by real life SA342 Pilots.

SA342M Armed with 4x HOT3 Anti Tank Missiles taking off from the FARP
ImageScreen_171229_124340 by O.C.Photo, on Flickr

Target is a convoy of 5x Transport Trucks spotted driving from through the hills south of the FARP. Now in Position hovering behind a hill overlooking their route, allowing the TV Camera above the canopy to peer over the trees at the road in the valley.
ImageScreen_171229_125041 by O.C.Photo, on Flickr

Auto-Hover engaged, TV Camera stabilised & weapons armed, the gunner can now aim the TV camera at the target, visible just below and to the left of the cross in the centre of the display.
ImageScreen_171229_125156 by O.C.Photo, on Flickr

Safety off, weapon away. First shot was a miss, aimed too low. (First time I'd tried hitting a moving target)
ImageScreen_171229_125239 by O.C.Photo, on Flickr

Missile 2, before impact...
ImageScreen_171229_125311 by O.C.Photo, on Flickr

ImageScreen_171229_125312 by O.C.Photo, on Flickr

Missile 3 was a miss, Missile 4 was a hit just below the truck on the bridge, but the blast was enough to start a fire and disable the lead vehicle in the convoy, blocking off the bridge.

View from the Gazelle...

RTB at the FARP.

The Gazelle is great fun - TV camera makes sighting targets and aiming very easy... the hard part is when they fire back...
