Best military jet payware for FS9?

Hi everyone,

A family member requested an add-on for their FS9 set-up for Christmas. I'm familiar with the civilian add-ons side of things but much less so military. Therefore, could anybody offer their suggestions for the best available military (fast jet ideally or similar) available for FS9 (payware is fine). The PC in question is a high end machine running Win7.

I wondered, having had a quick look, whether the Aerosoft A-10 would be a good buy? I've not been able to establish whether or not it will run on Win7 though.

All ideas and suggestions very welcome!

Difficult to suggest anything without knowing what they like to fly, but I wouldn't bother buying products for FS9 any more. Maybe you'd do better by buying them Prepar3D v2?

Thanks for the response Chris, however I know nothing about Prepar3D. The set-up in question has loads of good add-ons all running well. Also, as family are a long way from where I live (and those using FS9 there have limited technical knowledge!) I don't want to do anything too complex.

The Aerosoft F16 is an excellent thing to fly - easy to keep in the sky and great all-round visibility.

That said, I'm using FSX so not sure if it is available for FS9.

If Flightstore are still having their sale, they had all of the Horizon VFR packages on sale at £5 each for FS9 when I last looked?
