Re: AH64E at Middle Wallop
I live in Basingstoke and keep an eye on their movements - or lack -of - via ADS-B. I think 5 AH-64Es have been delivered to 673 Sqn date which I believe, courtesy of Tom's excellent Apache Resource Centre, are ZM702, ZM708, ZM714, ZM716 and either ZM717 or ZM701 (TBC, pending confirmation of hex code tie-ups).
I've noticed the occasional but infrequent ping from 708 and 716, mainly to the south and west of Middle Wallop but yet to see or even hear an E model venture this far east.
I'm not sure if there's an example based there, but I often see one on ADS-B up from Boscombe Down using a BDN callsign.
HTH.

As an update to my last, an AH-64E has just passed me several times on a sortie from Wallop, showing on ADS-B as ZM714 / PNTHR 83. Now heading north abeam Thatcham.

They’re up pretty regularly using the usual PANTHER callsigns, unsure if they’ve used AWARD since being back, sometimes use the GAUNTLET (BDN on ADSB etc) and use CARNAGE for pairs. ZM708 seems to be out the most.
