On Friday 8 September there will be a Spottersday Event for photographers and aviation enthusiasts. Practice flights will also take place on this day.

The ticket prices have been released, €60.50 for 3 days. Put that into perspective I paid £75 for Cosford Club yesterday

Tickets went on sale at 9am UK time and the site has crashed

Still varying degrees of out at 0926 - looks like the way they've required multiple different pages for the options (different page required each time to select parking for the 3 days, etc.) has overwhelmed their webserver. It was possible to start ordering before 0900BST, but there's a 15 minute timeout on your session and by 0902 it was properly broken.

On your details screen, Residence actually means Nationality..
The payment confirmation seems overwhelmed atm, mine's been waiting almost 10 minutes..

EDIT 2:
After 12 minutes the payment system threw an internal server error - on reload it flashed up a confirmation my order had been received, then went to a blank screen. 2 minutes of reloading the page each time it timed out finally loaded a page where your details including DoB are required to complete the order - you have to fill this in before you can download the eTickets. That page needed multiple (30+) attempts at resubmitting over 10 minutes before it finally updated the ticket company's database. After that the tickets downloaded in a relatively quick couple of minutes. Still not had my confirmation email, but 90 minutes after starting, I've got tickets...

Tickets sorted! All 3 days, finally got there in the end. Anyone have any recommends for food vouchers? Two of us going, not sure how much a voucher translates to? cheers!

The vouchers will be converted into Munten/Bonnen - either small plastic tokens or a reloadable card (new last year) you use instead of cash as the only way to pay for food & drink. Last year I think a small Coke was 1 Munt, a beer 2 Munts, Frites were 3, Braadworst or Frik were about 4.

I'm doing all 3 days and went for the 40+3 option to be on the safe side. There will be Kassa kiosks at the show & spottersday where you can buy more if you run out. Don't expect much other than coffee & waffles for about the first 2 hours any day though. The queue to get in from the carpark is usually horrific, so I'd advise taking some breakfast snackage and water or coffee with you.

2 tickets equals 10 Euros

1 ticket gets you a drink ie Jupiler beer, Chips, burger etc are 2 tickets.

Remember to take some cash as well, the toilets ie pee pee world costs €3 to €5 a day. Last year they changed the band colour each day so you couldn't just use the same one all weekend
