Unfortunately no Ba Yi today.
On the 13th during departure noticed one more F-22 (03-4057/HH?) and one more F-35B (169295/VK-09?) on the Changi East apron mid-airfield. The tail numbers listed here are from different sources on-line. Not noted myself. Also the seven Ba Yi J-10’s a little further north. Obviously not on the same apron as the USAF/USMC.
There were other bizz jets and airliner types but I did not need any of them as I could care less for those.
On static the Thai F-5’s were checked and the E model matched the scramble database however the F model seemed to carry the Kh18kh5-24 number instead of 5-23. Can anyone confirm this?
As the flying started on the 11th a downpour happened right over show center making it impossible to read the Apaches from camera. The weather on the 12th was much better but still low clouds and some haze.
The PLAAF flew 09 as a single in the time-slot for the entire team due to weather. After all flying was complete the entire team went up in a six ship with the others noted above.
Side note: rather interesting to see US, Russian, and Chinese military during the show. The USAF pilots were rather interested in selfies with the Su-30MKM.
Cheers,
Tally

Re: Singapore Airshow 2020
As we were approaching the Airshow site by shuttle bus on the 11 Feb I noticed 2 X P-8/ Wedgetails parked on Changi AB, Does any one know their ID's.
Thanks.

Re: Singapore Airshow 2020
Hi, I'm interested in going to the next show in 2022. Could anyone who attended this show provide more info into the layout/ format of the show etc?
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

This year was an exception due to virus, trade days are better usually as stuff does leave.

I would not make the trip from Europe just for the show. Staying an extra day during transit would be perfect.
In regards to Changi West I noted KC-135R 752 on the ramp closest to the rwy on Feb 11.
I also noted the following F-50's: 712 (Feb 12) and 713, 716 (Feb 13).

Hi Tally
a contact in Taiwan confirms the AH-64 on Tuesday as 064 (red tail markings) & 065
he mentioned that on one day 066 replaced 064 but did not give the day
on Changi West i read KC-135 751,752 & 753 on 10th, when in transit on 29th saw all 4 KC-135 in a line

Re: Singapore Airshow 2020
Looks interesting and worth a stop if en route elsewhere. Is it roughly the same weekend each year? I ask because of the huge Australian AF 100th anniversary show next February at Avalon and this could be a great stopover on the way. Avalon 2021 might be the next major show I get too if the current situation continues.
Re: Singapore Airshow 2020
Like Farnborough and others the Singapore airshow is biennial - so next one 2022.
Re: Singapore Airshow 2020
Dates for 2022 are 15-20th February if anyone is allowed to plan.

Re: Singapore Airshow 2020
Well this is a vague possibility (if we can go overseas by then?), as Avalon 21 was my main interest has been moved to November 2021, looks unlikely with it looking increasingly likely that Aussie/ NZ borders will be closed until 2022.
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...
