Me from Somerset.

Note it's ticket only, and tickets went on sale last Thursday. Apparantley 20K tickets per day. Would be silly to go all the way to Brisbane without an airshow ticket IMHO.

Plenty of other stuff to do in Oz, and on the way there and back. Edwards airshow is 2 weeks before and Nellis airshow is the weekend after. The cheapest fares are west bound from the UK at the moment. You could get tickets for less than £900 including stopovers at LAX both ways. So if you have 3 weeks holiday available you can do Edwards, Amberley and Nellis for £900 in flights. And in between Luke, Yuma, DM, San Diego in the US, plus Nowra, Williamtown, Richmond, Oakey in Oz.

Just found out. Sitting in departures at LAX waiting for the flight to Brisbane. Oh well - just have to go Roo hunting, or practice my snake and crocodile charming. What;s the difference between a Brown snake and a Black snake again? Is it run from one and curl up into a ball for the other? Or is that the killer Drop Bears - apparantly a relative of the Koala?
