'Bastille Day' Fly Past 14th July 2022

Post by 3Greens » Tue Jul 26, 2022 3:42 pm

Unfortunately couldn't make RIAT, so amused myself watching the arrivals on ads-b and simultaneously on the Thursday the mass aircraft movements around Paris for the 'Bastille Day' celebrations.
Not sure of the order of events but have made a listing of the departing frames were identified. Hope its of some interest to some.

I believe the German C130J headed back for recovery into Evreux while the A400 elements of the European Transport Wing headed back to Orleans for their own 5 ship flypast and celebrations on the base. The Spanish A400 did not land and departed directly back to Spain as' AME3156' after the flypasts.
The 'Patrouille de France' Alphajets operated from Villacoublay in the suburbs of Paris, as did the PC-21 trainers.
The fighter elements did not show up in ads-b so please excuse the likely gaps in the above.
It certainly looked an excellent flypast, hopefully some photos will appear
