Reims Air Base Closure?

Chaps,

Going to France in Mid June, pretty sure Reims AB is closing then? Or has it already close, done a search and I could not really find much.

I`ve heard last week it may be brought forward a month or so. I`ll see if I can find out for you.

Thanks guys, apprciate the replies, I go to France fishing every year but aviation comes a close second, had a day off from the fishing last year and spent a really enjoyable afternoon at Reims, it is only about half an hour from where we are fishing, hoping to do the same this year.

Reims was great when i visited a few years ago, loads of Mirage F1s did a mock airfield attack, first and last time i'll ever get to visit that base then
