Has anyone been here to take photo's. Going on holiday soon and may spend a day here. Just wanted to know what the police's views are here for photography. Many thanks in advance.

I was at the end of the runway where a road runs through the woods under the approach taking pics a few years ago - landing shots are very nice - side on and close. Unfortunately a bypasser reported me to the Gendamarie. They said I had to delete the shots that included parts of the base. They ( the Police) seemed happy enough with me using binoculars to log the codes while they went through my shots!

As the police were leaving they suggested next time I cross the road and park down a track in the woods out of sight of the locals.

St Dizier is not that far away and things were a lot easier there.

Indeed, Nancy is a Little bit dangerous.
The last 3-4 years, especially the Gendarmerie was not happy with spotters …

St. Dizier would be much more relaxed.

if you still remind what was the spotting conditions in the seventies there , they are the same now!Keeping low profile and you still can take pictures!
