Two interesting days at Lakenheath.

Post by gary1701 » Fri Oct 05, 2018 3:56 pm

Gents,

Here's my selection from the last two days. I actually went over to Lakenheath yesterday lunchtime to shoot some Eagles in some sunshine, the first visit of 2018, not knowing anything about the Hornets. I made the same mistake as a few and was caught transiting between the two bases when the F models arrived but still captured the E's.

Just to keep the Reaper gang happy! Nice to bump into you guys, and many others who I don't see that often.

7D Mk1 isn't that good in poor light, so just about managed this as it got dark.

Not too shabby for two days randomly booked off work. Maybe I should try the lottery at the weekend!

Hi Gary,
Very sharp set and like that first shot in particular :thumb: Good to see you too on both days, been a bit lean on variation for a while but there is raw steak on the table now. ( and that Reaper is :thumb) see you soon mate.
Regards Nick

Great to see some more from Lakenheath, the more the merrier as they say.

Thanks very much gents. Given the visitors I haven't looked, until now, at some of the locals. A few Reapers on the go look okay.

I was there on the 5th and was on the wrong spot to take any decent pics.
Yours are on the ball.
