Last Wednesday, along with many others I headed to RAF Marham with the aim of photographing the 3 specially marked Tornado GR4s, including the public debut of ZG752 wearing its two-tone scheme. having arrived in Norfolk to grey overcast skies these slowly broke, unfortunately for the launch the aircraft only very briefly caught the sun. Quick change of location for recoveries and with some more sun two 41 Squadron Typhoons "Apollo 11/12" departed in style back to RAF Coningsby. Thankfully the clouds completely parted above RAF Marham as the 3 specially marked Tornados and photo ship arrived back in the late afternoon sun. All in all a successful day in good company, hopefully do it all again before the final farewell in March!
