Farewell to The Tonka

Post by MattV » Sat Jan 26, 2019 3:15 pm

Hi all,

Spent an enjoyable but poignant day at RAF Marham on wednesday , with all 3 special schemed Tonka's taking to the sky for a farewell photoshoot over the North Sea.

You know your getting old when an aircraft you first knew thanks to Airfix as the MRCA is retiring. Don't talk to me about Harriers :)

The grey/green scheme is and always will be The RAF to me, its just looks so right and that example above is fantatsic.
