A day out to Rhosniegr

Last Tuesday after four months of being locked down and slowly going "stair crazy", I finally got the chance of a brief escape, so opted for a day at Valley. Weather wasn't too brill but I reckon Tuesday was probably about the best of a bad bunch, either way I didn't care (even if it rained), it was just good to get out there. All the activity was on Runway 31 - Rhosniegr end, my favourite part of Valley. I never ever thought that I would enjoy photographing Hawks so much as I did that day .
Rhosniegr is a wonderful spot, great for pictures from any angle, lovely beaches/sand dunes, with a meandering tributary going out to sea, lots of wild life. And the local chippy is boss

Some nice shots there, you've whetted my appetite for my trip to Valley in October! Was supposed to be on Anglesey last week, but with covid was not to be.
The Rhosniegr end looks good. I've not tried that end before, what is it like for parking?

There is plenty of parking space at the Rhosniegr end, however drive slowly and carefully when you arrive there. The entrance is at the side of the Anglesey Golf Club, but the track is very badly rutted, there are pot holes everywhere and a lot of sand erosion. There is also a wooden bailey bridge which leads to the end of the end of the runway, but there are warning signs advising not to drive over it.
