"Warhawks" go Dutch

Post by Reaper02 » Fri Sep 17, 2021 3:25 pm

On September the 10th six F-16C's from the Spangdahlem based 480th Fighter Squadron touched down at Leeuwarden Air Base, The Netherlands. The "Warhawks", as this USAFE Squadron is called, took part in the next phase of the Dutch Weapon Instructor Course (WIC). They flew Supression of Enemy Air Defence (SEAD) missions two times each day between Sept. the 13th and 16th and left again on Friday morning the 17th back to their homebase in Germany.

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
