Stu's review of 2022

Post by stuart n » Sat Jan 07, 2023 4:31 pm

Didn't have many chances to get out and about during 2022 but here are some of my better efforts.
January was 1 of the last chances to catch the Grim Reapers flying the F-15.

Back to Lakenheath in March and what a day with a flypast from a B-52 with a pair of F-35A, the 494th FS deploying to Poland with live missiles, the 510th FS heading out for weapons training and the 495th beating the hell out of the circuit. The SJ F-15E's were still around as well.

March also saw the XX741 fast taxi run and photoshoot at Bentwaters:

A morning at Lakenheath at the start of September The F35's were having fun again and the 555th were there for weapons and low flying training.

And finally a quick dash to Mildenhall in Ocotber to catch a pair of Combat King II, first time I've photogrpahed the type. Couple of C-17's also arrived while I was there.
