Superbase England

Post by Theo1 » Tue Mar 28, 2023 4:32 pm

The exercise Cobra Warrior had some very interesting visitors that did my two friends and I decide to make a short trip to England.
Sunday we went to Midenhall, Lakenheath and former RAF Binbrook for some wrecks and relics. To our surprise, we got a little tour of one of the volunteers at the museum at Binbrook. Very nice to see that these enthusiast men and woman restore some of the buildings and planes.
Monday until Thursday, we also visited Coningsby, Waddington, Cranwell, Leeming, Cambridge and Marham.
I also want to thank all the members here on FC for keeping me informed so we could plan our trip to get the maximum result out of it.
Therefore we were able to see the two Indian C-130´s at Cambridge (thanks RJB). :thumb:

Hi Theo, pleased that you had a great trip over.. not too many 'road miles' apart from Leeming for the Qataris.

Thanks for posting

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
