I did Old Fen Lane too on Thursday but not edited my shots yet.

Anyone know what are the two bumps/lumps either side of the spine just forward of the tail on the 41 Sqn jet and the one in the pic below it?

All Tranche 3 Typhoons have them fitted, just that nobody seems to have actually bought the conformal fuel tanks that are meant to be attached at those points

Lovely set. It's been a good few years since I last visited the fence, but back then it was getting to a stage where a squadron tail sticker was a rare thing. Have you just been lucky to get as many as you have here, or has there been a recent resurgence of the squadron insignia? I hope it's the latter.

Zac, I spent a day at the fence on 4 th March and photographed :

1x 11 sq
3x 12 sq
1x 2 sq
8x 29 sq

I didn't bother shooting the unmarked examples but I think maybe three or four came out from the north side and maybe six from the shelters on the south side, so yes it's an improvement.
Also 41 sq have at least three marked up jets.
