Lakenheath & Mildenhall 21 March

Post by Tonka 617 » Sat Mar 22, 2025 10:47 am

Once again the weather promised so much all week, to then not deliver for a Friday at Lakenheath, although it wasn't all that terrible.

Spent the morning at Lakenheath, haven't seen it as busy as it was for just a 'normal day'. I arrived at 6:30 to see the Forest entrance packed, cars all the way along the road near enough down to the landing lights, and the visitors car park rather full. Finished up at LN around 10:30, then took a drive over to Mildenhall which is always a nice relaxed and quieter environment - bliss.

A few from the day, LN boys were giving it the beans in the morning
