Thanks for posting these Bob. I doubt I'll get around to editing mine for a while as I'm still doing Fairford arrivals from 2024!
I do love AE, but I wish they'd let people spread out a little more, it would solve the pushing and shoving and general encroachment issues. The THK are fantastic hosts, and really do try and give you the best experience
Looking forward to the next one already!

Nice shots as usual

I couldn't go this time - were there any Egyptian vipers present?

Looks like each year that passes it has more of an airshow feeling?

Great event, on my to do list. How easy is it to get to/from the entrance point from a hotel in Konya? I would be doing it as a DIY trip and most likely without a car so assume local taxis are the only option? Any help for next time would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Mike

The Egyptian did not turn up :( No much different this year that 2023 The THK still do a great job they were giving out free water and the BBQ rolls were great and cheap :) :) They did not let us near the Main ramp hangar or the air crew area

This year we rented a car but you can get a cab from the airport to the hotels and you can negotiate a fee for the trip back to the base and collection back to the hotel.. Google translate works great :) also pick a western hotel with a bar if you want to drink ... It a muslim area so no drinking in alot of the hotels.. Also you get called to pray at sun rise 04:10 and sun set 22:10 so not alot of sleep :) :)
