And They're Off.....

Post by onemac » Fri Jan 04, 2013 11:44 am

First day of the new year for the Lossie crews and it was 617 Sqn who sent aircraft up first. Vandal 2 followed a while later by Vandal 1 - only two aircraft but both of them did multiple touch and go's at the best time for the light. Boy it was good to get out with the camera again and many thanks to Paul and John for the company. I'm sure all the dogs enjoyed themselves as well...

Alan, lovely shots - thanks.

I've been wondering about 'Cheesy's' images and the pros & cons of watermarking [not a problem I have yet seen the need for, see signature below :( ]. So, why do you not imitate PH and protect your shots?

I look fwd to your next posting.

A superb set of crisp, clear images. Gotta say though, i just don't understand the tilt type shots. It doesn't add anything IMHO.

My pet hate Mark - bad horizons. One of the chaps posted pics on another forum and I stuck that one in because ALL of his were not levelled. Then I got lazy and just copied from the other forum onto here, forgetting to delete that pic  It depends on my mood whether I enjoy those tilt type shots - a bit like HDR, subtle is fine but OTT brings out the worst in me

Each to their own. The copyright symbol next to my name is enough for me as there are usually other togs with very similar pics. Unique shots like PH gets would probably encourage me to use a watermark and the 'save as' option other than the 'save for web' that I use at the moment, thereby retaining the EXIF info within the file.
