SCAA Emergency Services photo-call

Post by Wallace » Fri Feb 13, 2015 2:01 pm

Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance, SCAA is nearing its 500 mission since it was started nearly two years ago. It's actually 487 but who is counting?
To celebrate SCAA organised all the local emergency services together for a photo-call and the Royal Navy sent a Sea King from HMS Gannet, Prestwick.
So, bear with me there's military content in every piccie it's just that you will have to look for it!
These images form a portfolio, it's not that often that I get this close to a Sea King and it's certainly not all that often that I get so close to a Sea King with rotors running!

Nice set of images & particularly fine shots of the Sea King. With regard to Military content I can just see the Sea King in all shots except #14, unless the Helo' is ex German AF, then presumably the contrail above the Bolkow is from a Typhoon?

Wonderful to see shots of the Sea King :thumb:

We will not see her ilk for too much longer, so it's great to enjoy when we can

Best regards
