Nice catch! I have to agree, certainly the most interesting movement i've seen in a while. However if its a new airframe for the NAF i would imagine it was ex-civvie?

As in the other thread, this (and the other one mentioned) are ex Air USA. The guys that lost the ex RoKAF Hawk at Yuma recently.

That's one great catch fella. Does anyone know it's previous ID? I shot a couple of US Air Alphajets on the ramp at MCAS Cherry Point in May 2013. They wore N42NV and N1142A.

Which before that was ex mil, however with full Nigerian markings and serial it now makes it full on Nigerian Mil.

Great catch and very well taken. Manchester does seem a strange stop off though and I believe there are two on delivery?

aviationdb are showing that the Alphajet N42NV has been de-registered on the USA register and exported to Nigeria.
