Althoug around 500 spotters is a bit too much I think. I heard there was not enough space for everyone on the first row.
Was probably that busy this year with other exercises like Cobra Warrior and Anatolian Eagle being cancelled and people suddenly panicking about the remarks of a politician talking about the retirement of the F-4 (and Mirage 2000 and F-16C/D Block 30's), which will take another two till three years.
