Standing on a Pink Jet?!

Post by James Cutting » Sun Aug 07, 2016 6:19 pm

Yes that's right...no need to go to Mach Loop to get literal top shot!! Last week, I was on a ATC Camp, and on the last day we visited 12 Squadron, and got to see the Pink Tornado  I was even lucky enough to get to stand on top of it to get pics of the cadets in the jet  One of my best days this year...enjoy!

Hi James

On top of the world, not quite but on top of a tornado is next best thing

Bet you felt on top of the world though ;)

Some nice and unique shots there, mate :thumb:

Glad you (and Luca) had a good week.

See you again soon :)

I was a cadet back in 92 at Leeming, for our summer camp. Got to do the same with a 25sqn F3 in the QRA shed. Our senior NCO even got to have a back seat flight for 2 hours. Awesome memories! (In 1990 we were at Wattisham crawling over 56sqn phantoms!!)
Great pics BTW
