F-35's Arrive at Lakenheath

Post by Lamboali » Sat Apr 15, 2017 3:12 pm

Here's a few from this afternoon at Lakenheath. I missed the first two, but apparently they weren't in the sun. So here's my efforts of the quickest spotting trip ever. Arrived when they were on approach so 5mins later back in the car and away :D :D

Well caught  Still not quite sure what to make of them. They certainly don't impact on me the same way as the first sighting of an F16 or F15 back in '70s
Guess they'll keep all the modellers busy with the super detail

Thanks for posting

Nice set of shots,is it just me or do they look as though they are still waiting for a final coat of paint with all that grey lining round panel edges ?, regards Paul.
