Exercise Cobra Warrior

Post by Yunglee » Fri Sep 14, 2018 4:57 pm

Only managed one trip down from Yorkshire to see our German visitors at RAF Coningsby, but we picked a superb day with lots of flying and decent weather. Here's my favourite images from the day.

1. Harpoon flight landing in formation

2. 46+55 arriving from Germany

3. 46+40 landing after the morning mission

4. Harpoon 26 and 27 lining up to depart

5. The Steinhoff tail art Eurofighter

6. Taxiing out of the HAS area

Thanks for looking, Lee.

Jolly good

I Like the holding hands landing - sharp

46+40 was the only one I needed and I didn't get a shot of it as it didn't fly the morning I was there so nice to see it in action.

Hi Lee,
Glad you got down and cracked some mighty fine weather.
Great images especially those landing shots.
All the best

Excellent set. Well remember travelling down there myself from 'God's own' when I was younger in the F3 days!
