That's one of the best special paint jobs I've seen on a long time with an instantly recognisable likeness of the Baron. Can only concur with nightowl.

Brilliant! I must confess I prefer the 'white scheme' on the starboard side. Although having a 'black' port side impresses me, it does raise questions for me as to how this overall application was achieved. Each side is clearly a direct reversal of the detail with the Richthofen "
R", emblems & signature reversed. I can't believe such a scheme could be achieved with just paint within a period of 12 months.

The complexity of the overlying former/current jets on the fuselage/tanks alone would be a mindboggling masking job!
I think it must be a part paint/part vinyl job really well executed. A superb effort following the recent (imo) below par TM-19 offerings & the magnificent UK Anniversary schemes..... Not!!

WUNDERBAR.Like many of you I cant wait to photograph this one.But more to the point think of the pride and motivation this sort of exercise promotes in squadron ground and air crew.Take note RAF top brass.

Maybe spare a thought that our Typhoons are also heavily engaged on real world operations, this week alone they have carried out armed operations over three countries. Although its great to see a pretty jet lets not forget we didnt purchase them to look pretty and they have a job to do.
