Nicely caught, it's a pity you didn't manage to take a shot with all six of the F-35s though.

They were too small 10 miles east of me and the second cell 10 mile west over Hexham.

Thanks but that was way off these 5 to the west but my mate caught it further north when they were trailing...

United States Air Force KC-135T 58-0072 “ROMA64” dragging the “TREND” fleet of 5x Hill Air Force Base F-35 Lightnings @ 26,000ft over NCL en route to Mont-De-Marsan, France this evening.
Nice catch.
