Typhoon ZJ ???

Post by C24 » Sat Nov 20, 2021 12:32 pm

For those with better eyesight than me. Do the digits following the ZJ on the fuselage correspond with the tail 946? If not, why not?

Whatever! It was a nice day

There's no "go-round" in a glider.

The three digits on the fin correspond to thse of the serial number.
The 'pretty flag' and bars around the fuselage roundel are markings for 12 (B) Squadron, the joint RAF/Qatari AF unit.

Hope this helps.

My belated thanks to you both for replying. The 9 on the fuselage looks confusingly like a 6 to me. I hadn’t seen the flag before
