Dull but Cool...
A rather dull day at NWI with predominantly rain and cloud.
However, the 2nd visit of 2x pumas for the week lightened it just a little

Very interesting shot of these two Puma's. Can anyone say how long Puma's have been all black? Also is this to be a fleet wide scheme for the Puma?
Would be interested in any info on this. Thanks in anticipation.

Look closer - they're not black - there is some green in there.

A mix of dark conditions and engine scoring makes the frame look darker than the base colour

Re: Dull but Cool...
As mentioned above, I suspect they are in the Chinook type dark green, matted down by exhaust and the rain at Norwich yesterday.
I thought I'd got lucky as I was in the middle of the airfield when they started up, only to taxi along the Delta taxiway severa hundred yards from where I was getting very wet.
Ahh the joys of aircraft spotting!
...and your pictures is a lot better than mine. Well done!

It seems you got the short straw with the weather, but In a more desirable position than I was...

Sorry for missing the green in the photo - a result of the weather.
