On Wednesday afternoon I got a call from a friend: A10’s were expected at Spangdahlem the next day. Of course I did not mind getting up early and make the trip.
Good news en route to Spangdahlem Thursday morning: twelve A10’s were already at Keflavik. We thought nothing could escape us now. In the morning we were treated to local F16’s in fine weather. The afternoon saw us through with the VT F35’s, navy growlers and also rumors that the A10’s were not going to show up.
But hey guy’s. If not today than tomorrow.
We booked a hotel (and had to buy fresh clothes and toothpaste) and after a couple of nice German beers went to bed with great hopes for the next day.
To keep this from not going to picture heavy here is a selection from Thursday.
I will update you on the Friday in the next thread.
