Purely by chance I must have been nearby as I had a similar view.
I must confess when people looking at their phones said they were getting close I was scanning the skies in completely the wrong direction. I did not expect them to cross the RAF College from a north easterly direction!

Excellent shots which in all likelihood be far better than the Flypast/weather on the full Occasion. I'm gonna break cover here & ask....Why did they practice arse about face? Surely on-the-day it's all right turns to the final run-in, but I guess the heading over Cranwell College was similar to the Event! Possibly highlighting (see what I did there?) any issues with vision should it be sunny.
