Cyclone in the South West

Post by SW Sky Blue » Mon May 30, 2022 7:19 am

A rather nice Sunday lunchtime visitor to Exeter yesterday in the form of a Canadian CH-148 Cyclone..148812 arrived from and departed to its ship, HMCS Halifax in the English Channel south of Torquay.

Excellent catch 'SW Sky Blue' ... I was relaxing in my conservatory at about 13:45L when it breezed past Berry Head, which was a very nice surprise.
It is great to see a closer shot so thanks for sharing your super pics

Great looking machine, not often you can say that about an overall Grey helo. Surprised that there aren’t more militarised variants of the -92 flying.

Super catch Kev.

I'm going to disagree entirely with Thunder though and say that the S-92 is one ugly looking pig of a helicopter. Proportions are so wrong.
