Hornets at Prestwick
Hornets at Prestwick
Made the trip over to Prestwick today to get the USMC Hornets. Pity only the 5 made it, but at least I've broken my run of bad luck with Hornets at Prestwick. Luckily there wasn't much heat haze for the taxy shots, as I made an arse of my settings for the flying shots. Also included are the support Herc and KC135, with a few other military airframes present during my stay.

Re: Hornets at Prestwick
Super shots but the Hornets steal the show with #2 as the 'stand-out' for me.
You even managed to bag an Aussie Moose!

It's even better than that Strato, that's my second one in two weeks at Prestwick.

Re: Hornets at Prestwick
Agreed another fine set
Wish I had gone to the mound , I saw a few guys at Monkton and thought this must be the side to be but there was quite a bit of haze and you are into the sun.
That vehicle was parked by the Aussie all day. Security?

Re: Hornets at Prestwick
I did hear someone mention this and there was a vehicle there all the time I was there. The "guard" was changed at least once while while I was there. Got to keep the duty free safe.
