More from Lakenheath - Thursday 16th June 2022

Post by johnwickenden » Fri Jun 17, 2022 9:09 pm

It does seem that more photos appear on this site from Lakenheath than anywhere else....I guess its one of the few places you can guarantee action (apart from Prestwick!!! :D

These photos were from the morning launch only. The first two F35s were away on a sortie for about 90 mins and on their return made several passes climbing to high altitudes each time....all rather impressive. Anyway, on with the shots

and finally, 85-0009, when climbing out of Mildenhall, turned north and flew over the eastern end of Lakenheath

Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?

Always great action at the trio that comprise 'The Hall', 'The Heath' and Prestwick and always a pleasure to view so thanks for sharing them
