anyway on with the photos. The WA A-10C was seriously tooled up

The Ramp shots were taken at about 07:45am Forgot to change the EXIF so it was still on UK timeFreeman Lowell wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 4:21 pmThat new Canon seems to be producing some nice crisp shots Bob. May I ask what time of day the ramp shots were taken? The shadows suggest it wasn't too early and the EXIF data says late afternoon, if I've read it correctly.
Thanks,
Freeman
Thank you Bob.
Yes Chris the Canon R6 MkII with the increase 24MP resolution and faster burst rates up to 40fps has made the shots clearer and with a Canon 800mm F11 lightweight lens and a 2 x converter for the ramp shots I was impressed with a shot of a KC-135 which was miles away
Hi I presume to mean based WA F-35's... There were about 10 on the main ramp under sun shelters and and another 10+ on the other side of the base in the revetments... For the number crunchers you can get the the numbers off the tails and the nose wheels doors in the sun shelters but you need a super pole IE the new Swarovski or a mate that has one... The ones in the revetments I think are impossible until they move... But I could be wrong
