Minsk Mazowiecki 24/28 August 2023

Whilst in Poland for Radom Air Show, we managed to make a couple visits to Minsk Mazowiecki, which was fairly busy with MiG-29s and SU-22s temporarily based there

Upon landing in Warsaw on Thursday, we headed straight to Minsk Mazowiecki and a based SAR W-3 bashed the circuit for a couple hours

Then a pair of MiGs returned from a local sortie

Followed by a SU-22,

And then a VIP W-3 from Warsaw came for some circuits

On Monday we returned hoping for the SU-22 and MiG-29 from Radom to arrive back but they returned to Swidwin and Malbork, however we did manage to capture the FA-50 coming home, along with an aircraft I was not aware was even in Polish service! Typically the 4 SU-22s on base departed back to Swidwin whilst we were on the approach, so didn't see any of them

Last two images are the first I have ever seen of the types in Polish service. Well done! Hopefully a KAI50 and a M346 for static at next years Air Tattoo - and F16's at Waddington for a Cobra Warrior!!!!
