'Quick Climb Friday' in the lovely spring sunshine

Post by LN Strike Eagle » Sun Mar 23, 2025 4:56 pm

That was the plan anyway! Took a day off as I've been waiting for the right combination of wind direction and sunshine to put my new lens through its paces, but cloud cover and not *that* much activity put paid to that plan. Will have to keep an eye on it and try again soon. So as not to waste the trip, decided to scout out the taxiway at Folly, which is a spot I've wanted to try for a while. Camped out there for the afternoon waiting for the RC-135 to return and caught a couple of based KC-135s too.

They have come out very well. Nice and sharp too. What's the camera/lens combo if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks. Camera is an old EOS 7D but I upgraded to the 100-400 L MkII at the end of November. Only the second chance I’ve had to use it but so far, so good.

Thanks for the info. Certainly a good copy of the lens.
