A couple of Hercs

Post by Blue Diamond » Tue Mar 25, 2025 11:15 am

Having been to Coningsby for "Reheat's" practice display on Thursday, I popped over to Waddo for the second of the Saudin Hercs.

On Monday I popped down to Fairford for the rumoured arrival of Romanian and Turkish assets for the upcoming Ramstein Flag exercise. In the end we only got the Romanian C-130B but what a beauty it was.

Lovely shots there. Despite only being a couple of miles from Fairford, the Romanian C-130 was surprisingly hard to spot in the hazy conditions

Nice catch on the Romanian C-130B, one of the oldest Hercs still plying its trade in Europe.
