'Heath' and 'Hall' from the overhead.

Post by B58Hustler » Thu Jun 12, 2025 8:20 am

Decided to transit through the zone on the way back from Sherburn in Elmet after visiting some Tiger Moth friends.
Struggled to get anything remotely sharp due to haze, a smeared and bug splattered canopy and below 5000' it was so choppy we were getting thrown around like dice in a cup.

Its a rule that you have to count the number of aircraft in each image.... :-)

Really interesting images.

Interesting pictures. Thank you. If I owned those aircraft on the Alpha Ramp, I'd be thinking of installing some containment walls now...

Very nice. Hope the drone defences are operating properly.

How should they be parking them?

Somewhere where one explosive device, howsoever delivered, won't take the entire wing out? Them roundy hut type things look like they might do the job

I misunderstood.
I thought FERG was of the opinion that the photo was from another time when they were parked differently.
If the USAF suddenly decide that all frames need to inhabit a HAS then we should start worrying.
