AAC371 @ Manchester Barton 21-03-2012

Post by 2.2DME » Wed Mar 21, 2012 9:05 pm

Hi All

I post going on at Barton regularly over on CA, but it's not often we get anything in that's appropriate for this forum! Today we had AAC371 (ZJ230) visit for some fuel, it arrived in some beautiful evening light with a real golden tone. Also many thanks to the crew for flying a low approach & go around as they were departing :)

By the time the Apache departed the light had sadly faded...

Buzzer, it is indeed rare to see shots where you can read it off! You normally seem to always be straining to read the things off!

Owensy, it makes a very nice change :) Hopefully they'll send a few more our way!

Reggie, it's always the way! Although if you did decide to pop up it'd no doubt have been a no-show!

neilscott, cheers :)

kjshaw01, I'd agree with that! I've practised it with a few other subjects hoping I'd get something like that!

DeltaCharlieKilo, just a shame the light wasn't a bit better for it!

TonyO, I don't pay that much attention to mil bits & bobs but from what I see it's rare(ish) for them to have them fitted :thumb:

A lot of the tanks are with the guys in Afghanistan leaving only a handful over here for the crews to fly with.
