Hi, as some of you are aware, back in January I (along with a couple of friends) spent a couple of days at Nellis AFB to capture the Red Flag exercise taking place, a Green Flag was also taking place at the same time. This is just a few of the photos from the event, the rest can be seen in my flickr set.

First, some pictures taken outside the base. Some great opportunities from outside as long as you are prepared to move with the sun.

Then the excitement began to rise as we drove to the main gate. Things didn't turn out as planned but sometimes the unexpected can be a pleasant surprise.

As we waited for everything to launch, the missions were scrubbed because of AF1 with POTUS were in the area. We were invited back during the evening mission to watch and take a few snaps instead, which was nice.
