Re: Exercise Iniochos 2024
The third, mid afternoon launch was much more spread out time-wise. If memory serves it started around 3pm and went on for an hour or so. Here's what I logged for it:
Saudi Typhoon 312, 1020
Romanian F-16 1605, 1609
Greek F-16 018, 028, 121, 127, 130
Spanish EF-18M C.15-83, C.15-93
French Rafale 33, 7, 13, 27, 17, 20
A single Greek F16, 071, arrived late afternoon, but I didn't make a note of the exact time.
I left at around 16.45, at which time the other two Spanish Hornets were parked up on the north west apron.
I didn't see either of the two choppers all day. Apparently the Montenegrin Bell 412 had gone home on the Tuesday, but does anyone know what happened to the Cypriot AW-139?

Re: Exercise Iniochos 2024
Having now written up my log for this event I can add two more arrivals, F-4E(AUP)s 01518 & 01522 which came back late afternoon, but I didn't see or hear them depart during the day.
In addition to the flyers noted in the various posts above I noted the following:
338 MDV/Iniochos Shelter area: Romanian AF F-16AM (1616); QEAF Rafale EQ (QA210).
Pan adjacent to northern end of runway: 2 x Greek F-4E(AUP); 2 x Greek F-16C.
Gate guards x 4 as listed in EMOOS / Eurodemobbed
20+ Phantoms stored on or near the eastern taxiway.
If anyone can fill in any of the gaps I'm sure I won't be the only one to appreciate it!

Re: Exercise Iniochos 2024
A surreptitious stroll up the metal staircase by the tower revealed 25 stored F-4s (& allegedly the A-7) on the eastern taxiway. Interestingly 25 can be seen on Google Earth, 10 older inmates in a line with 15 (mainly grey) in front.

Kevin et all,
The two Greek tombs in the NE corner were 01504 and 71756.
01518 and 01522 arrived from the NE so I suspect that they came back from Larissa?
Regards
Mark

Thanks very much guys.
Re: Exercise Iniochos 2024
What were the rules on base regarding ladders? And does anyone know where to pick up a set of those small plastic folding stools that also double as a seat. I usually get mine in my case but I’m just doing carry on for Ramstein Flag.
Re: Exercise Iniochos 2024
Can’t answer the rules of the base, but hardware shops are ten a penny in Greece, head into any town and you’ll find one quick enough or look for any Jumbo store again found in most large towns.
Re: Exercise Iniochos 2024
I got mine from Amazon. There was no issue with a single step in April.
